![]() ![]() Great concert, festive crowd, excellent view - and what a beautiful night. Last night (July 4), we attended the Allentown Band Concert at the Levitt Pavilion and watched the fireworks from the campus afterwards. I have not been to the Musikfest Cafe yet, but I hear good things. The SteelStacks campus is the largest revitalized brownfield in the country and is situated on 10-acres amidst the ruins of the former Bethlehem Steel. A gift shop is also inside, as well as plentiful, clean restrooms. Smaller concerts are also presented on the Air Products Patio outside the ArtsQuest building and the TD Bank Community Stage inside. I've participated in a couple of GIrls Night Out events (Thursday evenings in the ArtsQuest building), and we've listened to free concerts at the Levitt Pavilion, an outdoor band shell with a lovely, grassy public seating area (bring lawn chairs or a blanket). I've seen a movie and a comedy show in the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinema - small, intimate theater with comfy seats and a place to put your food trays from the Mike & Ike Bistro or your drink from the bar, if you desire. As a lifelong Bethlehem resident, I admit to some prejudice, but this place really has a lot going on, and the campus is really nice. Join us at the Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks for a free outdoor concert by Ryan Stevenson, Christian singer/songwriter of Eye of the Storm at 7:30pm Local Christian bands will also be performing, including Pastor Jeremy and Ebenezer’s Worship Band, 6:15-7:15pm. ![]()
